Warm weather Welcome to Shelburne County! It's June and we' ve already
been to the beach swimming. Signs of a nice long summer so it's time to
start outdoor living. And what do we all
think of when the weather gets warm? Heading out to the cottage! Here
at Boulder Cove we want our guests to think of us that way. A place you
can go and enjoy the summer and experience cottage life. All with
out the hassle of the usual cottage responsibilities; opening up for
the season, spring cleaning all the linens, hooking up the heat and
water, chasing away the winter hibernating squirrel that made himself
at home while you were gone. You know the drill. We have your cottage
by the ocean all ready for your arrival right down to the bikes, boats
and campfire wood.

Had lots of fun with the new Meeting Room. Here we all are
at Carla's Birthday party. It was a Hawaiian Theme. I think everyone

We hosted a wedding too. Here is
the beautiful bride about to toss her bouquet. We had
two bands for the party. Here is Clay of Balls Deep singing his cute
little butt off. What a party and what a mess the next morning! But it
was worth it.

Bird Watching
Boulder Cove has many residential birds who love to impress guests with
daily sitings. In the spring listen for the owls living by the lake,
hooting back and forth to each other. During the summer chatty
kingfishers and large osprey fly the Bay looking for herring and
mackerel. And in the Fall the Bay is conquered by a majestic Bald Eagle
watching for prey. Don't forget the Brant Goose Fly-Away in February
and March. Guided tours of the property and/or the county are
available.
