Our Cottages

Nestled along the rocky shoreline of Shelburne Harbour, between the towering century old pines, are 5 cottage hideaways waiting for your visit. Boulder Cove Cottages offers the casual luxuries any guest would demand with picturesque Bay views, relaxing airjet or whirlpool tubs and access to the freshest Atlantic seafood in Nova Scotia. With 50 acres of wilderness to explore and 2000 feet of shoreline trails to walk, Boulder Cove can offer that secluded feeling of peace and quiet with the convenience of small town necessities just minutes away. The only place you will want to hang your hat for your vacation, our tastefully decorated cottage retreats have almost 700 square feet of living space. Each cottage features the following and will win the approval of all who enter.

Private ocean views tucked beneath the shade of the forest trees.
Covered patio decks with propane BBQ and relaxing patio furniture
Large eat in kitchen with all the amenities of home: stove, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, pots, pans, glassware, and so on.
Open air living room with pullout sofa bed and satellite TV.
A 4 piece bath with two person air jet or whirlpool tub.
Two spacious bedrooms with queen size beds.
Every cottage sleeps 6 people comfortably!
Towels and linens are provided.

All our cottages are housekeeping units and with our barrier free cottage we're sure to accommodate all visitors to our retreat. If you have any special needs please do not hesitate to ask when booking your cottage. OUR COTTAGES ARE NON-SMOKING, except on decks!

Rates and Reservation Information

Boulder Cove Cottages are open year round with great shoulder season prices. We have special packages prepared for each season so watch for them as the seasons change. Our rates are in Canadian dollars. Please inquire about pets.

Prices

Peak Season June 16 to September 15

Per night $150.00 for 2 adults

Per night $ 170.00 for 4 adults

Per week $1000.00

additional adults are $10 each per night

Shoulder season September 16 to June 15

Per night $100.00 for 2 adults

Per night $120.00 for 4 adults

Per week $650.00

additional adults are $10 each per night

Children 18 years of age and under stay free of charge with adults.
Each additional adult is $10.00 a night or $50.00 a week
All prices do not include 13% HST*
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB and travelers cheques.
All bookings are guaranteed and require a 25% deposit to hold.
All cottages are smoke free except on the decks. If this policy is not respected you will be charged $75.00 for additional cleaning and air purifying.
Check In Time: anytime after 3pm. Please advise if you will be late arriving (after 8pm) or early (before 3pm).
Check Out Time: 11am

Cancellation Policy

In case of cancellation we require 48 hours notice for nightly stays and 10 days notice for weekly stays. If you do not cancel in time you forfeit your deposit and we will charge you the full amount for the reservation if the cottage can not be rebooked. Any bookings of more than 3 cottages at the same time we require one month notice of a cancellation. If you do not cancel in time you will be charged for the rooms which are not rebooked.
